For the life of me I can't figure out why the press can't get their shit straight. I googled the name lyndal harrington (about 47,700 results for lyndal harrington) and 99% of the stories on there are saying poor lyndal, a blogger jailed for posting her opinion. blah blah blah

That is such bullshit.

She was jailed for CONTEMPT OF COURT.

She was ordered to produce her computer to be examined and she came up with story after story about WHY she is unable.

First HURRICANE IKE got it, then she moved in with her sister in law and oh my gosh, the place got robbed. The robbery took place in the middle of the afternoon, while poor lyndal was sleeping. Soundly sleeping.....hmmmm. ONE WEEK before she was to hand it over.

Very interesting that the press neglects to give those little details. Lyndal showed up at court empty handed, the Judge DID NOT belv her bogus stories and threw her lyin' ass in jail for the Memorial Holiday weekend. Poor baby lyndal then shows up at court after her spa weekend in county lockup and the judge gives her until this 4th of JULY holiday to come up with something.

Well the time has come once again to see lyndal in court.

3 p.m. today we will find out if lyndal showed up empty handed AGAIN.

update: Lyndal will be able to have a burger on the outside for the holiday. NO JAIL.

Update re the 9 am Hearing in Houston today:

Lyndal was released from Country Jail today and has been charged to produce her computers and documents by July 2nd - at a hearing scheduled that day. Judge Lindsay stated that she believed that Lyndal was responsible for whatever happened to her computers

Following the arraignment in L.A. County Superior Court, an attorney for Howard K. Stern said he plans to seek a complete dismissal of the charges on the grounds that the law is meant for medical professionals.

“Howard is not a doctor, not a medical practitioner and the statute does not apply to him,” lawyer Steve Sadow said outside court as Stern stood silently at his side.
